Dear <<First Name>>

Innovation lies at the heart of cutting greenhouse gas emissions and reversing climate change. But all too often renewable energy pioneers capable of disrupting the status quo are failing to take novel ideas to scale, or even get them to market.

This week, Camco-managed REPP issued a request for proposals aimed directly at innovative companies and entrepreneurs operating in Sub-Saharan Africa’s energy generation and energy access sectors. Through the call, we are looking to discover and support the latest business and/or technological innovations that could hold the key to delivering clean energy access at scale and speed across the region.

Successful applicants stand to benefit from a host of financing services and support tailored to their unique circumstances and needs, ranging from development loans and gap financing to access to risk mitigation instruments, as well as technical assistance and capacity building alongside any direct REPP investment.

Applications need to be submitted by 29 October for priority assessment. To find out more, check out the request for proposals here.

Cheers

Geoff Sinclair
